Asking Others to Pray for You

Question: If prayer is a personal thing between you and G-d, is it appropriate to ask others to pray for us and why is it appropriate?

Answer: It certainly is appropriate because they too have their own personal relationship with G-d. If they are concerned for your well being, why shouldn’t they ask G-d to help? Not only that, but our tradition states that if you and someone else need the same thing, and you ask G-d to help the other person, you may very well get answered first!

Best Wishes,
