What is the story with animal sacrifices today? Today, we give no animal sacrifices, but doesn’t it clearly say we need to sacrifice animals to atone for our sins?

Hosea 14:3 Take with you words, and return unto the Lcrd; Say unto Him: “Forgive all iniquity, and accept that which is good; So will we render for bullocks the offering of our lip.”
Psalms 69:30-31 I will praise the name of Gcd with a song, and magnify Him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the Lcrd better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.
Since Gcd took away from us the ability to offer animal sacrifices, the prophets indicated that prayer would take the place of sacrifice.
In what way did God take away the ability to sacrafice animals?
G-d requires Jews to use the grounds of the Beis HaMikdash (Holy Temple in Jerusalem) for sacrificial offerings, and there are many other complications as well. We have not had these requisites for around 2,000 years, but all will be restored in Messianic times.
