What about those who aren’t chosen?

If the Jewish people were the chosen race because they accepted the torah, then what about us “gentiles” who were not given that choice?

Our tradition teaches that all nations were given the opportunity but only the Jews accepted. But it’s not a closed club. Any Gentile who wants to accept the responsibilities of membership can join the tribe (until messianic times when the door will be closed).

In the meantime, the Torah also teaches that righteous Gentiles who remain Gentiles “have a share in the world to come” provided they adhere to and uphold the 7 Noahide laws. If you research this topic on jewishanswers you will find some interesting Q+A on it.
