Is there an offical stand on global warming in the jewish faith?
No, not per se. We do have official stands on ecology in general; the general principle is that we are commanded to be good custodians of the earth. The unresolved question about global warming is how much of it is due to human activity and how much is natural.
In either event, we would all be advised to move to higher ground!
We respond to every follow-up question submitted, but only publish selected ones.
In order to be considered for publication, questions must be on-topic, polite, and address ideas rather than
personalities.
