If Amalek was descended from esau- do we know who his descendants are? Does HaShem (G-d) dislike them by automatically or were they also warmongers?

Traditionally, we understand that the descendents of Esau were represented by the Romans, then the philosophy of “Western society,” which is based, in large part, on the Roman philosophy. Amalek was a specific group from a specific family. Today, we do not know who their descendents are. While we trace the lineage of Amalek to Haman (from the story of Purim), we nonetheless cannot punish people today because we believe that they are from this people. The law of the Torah is that we are to destroy this nation whether the individuals in that culture are deemed “innocent” or “guilty.”

What we should try to keep in mind is that when we think of Amalek we should contemplate that there are always those who want to destroy us. The most dangerous thing that the Jewish people could do is to think that they are completely safe in America, Israel, or anywhere. Amalek will always show its evil head. It is up to us to be able to spot the negative spiritual energy that Amalek represents. G-d willing, we will all be able to recognize the evil that comes into our lives and destroy it. May G-d look at that recognition as though we are doing the mitzvah of destroying Amalek.
