Why isn't the world perfect?
G-d doesn't choose to make the world a perfect place; it contains much evil and suffering. One of the consequences of this is that we are able to improve ourselves (and the world) by doing good deeds.

I heard a story that a Rebbe once asked his Chassidim if they could change one thing in the world, what would they change? All of the Chassidim gave there opinions. Finally, they asked the Rebbe what he would change. He said “Nothing” because the world is perfect we just don’t understand G-d’s ways.
Thank you your comments!
