Question
How can Hashem be all knowing and let us have free will? If the future is known to him, are we really making our own decisions?
Answer
This is an excellent, and complex, question. Let me add another question: Why, and how, can we exist? After all, G-d fills the entirety of existence with His presence, where is there room for anything else? The answer is that despite that, G-d created space within Himself in which man can exist on man-style terms. Therefore, although G-d, who is outside that box, does know and see all, as time is not a factor with him, within the box of creation, where we operate, there is a timeline within which we have free will.
