There is a new movie starring Kirk Douglas called “Illusion” that discusses the Akashic Record. What is the Jewish Philosophy regarding the existence of an Akashic Record?

We actually do believe in a form of Akashic Record. I’m not sure if it is exactly what “Akashic Record” usually refers to. But the Medrash says that the Torah existed for 910 generations (I believe that’s the #, I’d have to check to be exact) before the creation of the world. The Medrash and Zohar and other Kabalistic (mystical) writings say that the Torah is the blue print of the world and that the secret of all creations are revealed in it (not necessarily in the way we read the Torah.)
