Jesus not Messiah – short answer

Question

Please tell me where the claim that Jesus is the Messiah can be refuted in the Torah.
Thanks

Answer

There are a host of reasons why we understand that Jesus was *not* the Messiah — because all of the things, *all* of the things, that the Messiah was supposed to accomplish, have not been done!

In other words, they can tell you that there were certain things the Messiah is supposed to *be* or *have* — like riding into Jerusalem on a donkey — that Jesus did. But all of the accomplishments — the unity of all mankind in recognition of G-d, rebuilding the Temple, peace on earth and all that apparently-minor stuff? That, they tell you, is waiting for the “second coming.” We’re still waiting for the Messiah who will, as prophesied, accomplish these things.
