I beleive in signs. However, I have been reluctant to interpret signs, rather I’ve chosen to approach signs as a kind of “reassurance” if you will. By reassurance I mean that there is a reassurance that all is well, there is an order to the universe, that things are woking out the way they should. It’s a good approach.Is my approach correct? If not can you help me move beyond this position?
Your approach is correct, with one small modification: you should indeed attempt to interpret the signs. Don’t be certain of your interpretation, but do be certain that everything that happens to you is a result of the Creator’s will, who is trying to get your attention. Thus, the Creator uses the world to give each and every person a personalized feedback system in order to challenge us spiritually in just the way we need to be challenged in order to get to the next level.
In short, when something painful happens, say, “Help me” and “What am I supposed to learn from this?” When something pleasant happens, say “Thank you!” and “What am I supposed to learn from this.” Hope that’s helpful.
