In the desert, which Levites carried the Kiyor?

Since the Kiyor was located between the Mizbeach and the Ohel Moed, and the sons of Kehos Carried the Mizbeach as well as all the Kelim in the Ohel, it would be logical that they also carried the Kiyor. However, Ibn Ezra (on Shemos 35:16) points out that the Kiyor had no poles, and says "perhaps it was carried in the wagons", which implies that it was carried by the sons of Gershom or Merari.
