Question
What is the extent of the Holy Land?
Answer
The maximum extent of the Holy Land is from the Nile to the Euphrates and from the Mediterranean Sea to the desert; this was the land that G-d promised to Abraham (see Genesis 15:18-21 and Exodus 23:31). It doesn’t include places to which the Jews were exiled, such as Egypt, Iraq, etc.
