Throughout the Torah, in what form do angels appear to different people? My guess is either in human form or symbolic. I have never seen an angel depicted as a cherub or any other Christian symbol in anything Jewish. I will appreciate your help.
We do not ascribe forms to angels. Angels are totally metaphysical and don’t have any physical appearance at all. Sometimes they appear to us like humans (like in the story of Abraham) but that isn’t what they really look like. The prophet Ezekiel describes angels in human and animal form, but those are Kabbalistic concepts which are being used and cannot be taken literally.
