Isn’t the Techeiles (the colored string described in the Torah) extremely important in the Tzitzis (the four-cornered fringed garment)? Why aren’t there more Tzitzis like this?

Although in my opinion the Techeiles coming out of Israel today is very likely the real thing, since it cannot be conclusively proven, and since there are so many different views as to how to tie the Techeiles strings on the Tzitzis , and since one does fulfill the Torah commandment even without Techeiles (Techeiles is an added requirement), many people have not adopted the new custom of using the Techeiles .
