Can we make a case for the destruction of the twin towers being something that G-d caused in order to wake up mankind they have gone astray and should repent?
Answer
G-d’s reasons for creating calamity and suffering are beyond our understanding. However, we do believe that all that happens in this world is deliberate and with compassion for mankind. We can only speculate what exactly is the message G-d conveyed to us on 9/11, but that is all that He expects; that we try our best.
