If a baby dies an hour after birth should a funeral take place? why or why not ?
Answer
A baby requires a burial even if stillborn, however the laws of mourning do not apply unless the baby was at least thirty days old. The reason for this is because until 30 days the baby has not yet established the fact that he/she is a viable human being. Nevertheless, burial is required out of respect to the body and soul
