Only if it’s a Gefilte fish…
Actually, animals do not have the same kind of “soul” as the one which G-d breathed into humans. There is no free-will nor accounting of their deeds. Fish are even a lower level of life-form in that their carcasses do not even transmit “Tumah”, ritual impurity.
