Holiday for the Binding of Isaac

Question

There is a Muslim holiday, called “The Feast of Sacrifice”. To my understanding it’s a celebration of Abraham’s devotion to G_d, about him being so devoted he’d sacrifice his own son. My question is, why don’t Jewish people celebrate this holiday? The reason why I ask is because, it’s one of my favorite stories. It reminds me that some things may only be a test. It reminds me to be patient. It’s inspirational of how deep devotion to G_d can truly be.

Answer

We do celebrate the binding of Isaac on Rosh Hashonah, the Jewish New Year, which is the anniversary of that event. We read about it in the Torah reading that day, as well as mention it repeatedly in our prayer service.
