If G-d is beyond time and sees everything the same, is life and death the same? Do they occur at the same time and could life be G-d’s dream?
Answer
This raises an issue that we, as humans, often find difficult to comprehend. Time is an invention of G-d’s as part of His creation of the world. Time begets change. G-d is unchangeable and beyond the realms of time. You can try to view it as that G-d is in a different dimension in which time does not exist. He therefore sees all at once as he is not time bound. From our human perspective, however, we see things in a linear way.
