I am building a business and many books and CD’s have been recommended to me about building my self-confidence/self-image. What Judaic sources would you recommend I go to so that my search for bettering my own self-image and my self-confidence will fit with my spiritual self?
There are many many Jewish self help books. Some of the best are by the following:
Rabbi Dr. Abraham J. Twerski, Rabbi Zelig Pliskin, and Mr. Avi Shulman. You can browse their stuff at here
The Torah has everything you need! You can also fine some great stuff online at Torah.org and Aish.com
Warmly,

I am trying to find historical/factual information on plants and spices. Is there any historical source I could use as reference.
The problem with source searching is reliability. There is vastly more unreliable information than the reverse and how is a person to know. One good way is to browse publishers that are completely reliable. That removes most of the work and the guessing from the outset. Two of the best can be found at www.Feldheim.com, and www.Artscroll.com.
