Question: How did the snake communicate with eve?

Answer: Hi! It’s a very interesting question. But you know, the world then was very different, in so many ways. It’s not too easy for us to relate to. The Da’as T’vunos by R’ Moshe Chaim Luzzatto says that Adam (and Eve) were mostly spiritual beings. They were “made by hand” by G-d himself. Even their “physical” nature was closer to what we would call spiritual.

Anyhow, Adam already gave names to all the animals. And a name in Hebrew isn’t just a place-holder; it’s more like a complete understanding of how that thing is put together, physically and spiritually. If Solomon could speak the language of all living things, I certainly think that Adam and Eve could do it too.
