What is the difference between an Orthodox Jew & a Messianic Jew?
Thanks for the question. An Orthodox Jew believes in the Written and Oral Torah, as passed down by tradition for the last 3300 years. He believes the words of the Torah that say that Torah is a covenant between God and the Jews that can not be changed or discarded (Deuteronomy) and will endure till the end of time. A Messianic Jew is usually someone that likes aspects of Judaism but is a Christian and so essentially adds superficial Judaism to philosophical Christianity.
