Ephraim Becker
Rabbi Ephraim D. Becker, Ph.D., studied in the Chofetz Chaim Yeshiva and earned a Master's in Jewish History from Yeshiva University. He practiced as a pulpit rabbi in Rochester, NY and in Queens, NY. Rabbi Becker provided Jewish education and outreach to adults in Milwaukee, WI, practiced as a hospital chaplain and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin there in Education with a focus on Counseling. His dissertation was entitled "Compassion and Conviction in Instruction; An Analysis of a Synthesis." Some of his writings can be found on Mussar-Psych at Torah.org. Rabbi Becker received Rabbinical ordination from Rav Gedalia Felder of Toronto. After completing his doctoral studies in 1992 the Rabbi Becker and his family moved to Israel. For the past thirteen years Rabbi Becker has practiced as a therapist conducting mussar-oriented therapy in private practice in Jerusalem. |
