Question: The technique of “tapping” used in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is claimed to release emotional and physical blocks. Is this acceptable in Jewish law?
Answer: I don’t see any problem with it. There are many alternative, holistic approaches to our body that our Western mind automatically rejects as “strange” and “unkosher”—yet we embrace ingesting drugs and medicines without thinking twice!I don’t see why this is any different from acupuncture. Go for it!
