Answer: Thank you for contacting us. I’m struck by the simplicity and innocence of your question. The true One to ask this question of, especially in the absence of prophecy, is G-d, our Father in Heaven. It’s His decision who will be born. It will help with perspective to know that Jewish tradition has always said G-d will often give people challenges for the simple purpose of motivating them to reach out to Him and rekindle the loving relationship. Do ask the question, but please ask it to the Al-mighty who is begging, as it were, to have a conversation with you.
