Soap as a Metaphor

Question: Where are the scriptures that explain the exact ingredients that Noah used to make the lye soap for bathing in the Torah?

Answer:  I can tell you a little about soap when used Biblically, such as in Malachi 3:2. There are two nuances to soap, both of which mean removing the “stain,” and leaving what is left pristine. One of course is to clean the dirt from the body, but the other is to clean the stain from one’s soul.
